A MAN standing in front of his house in Tarlac City on Wednesday was killed in a gun attack by riding-in-tandem armed men.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., the Tarlac City police identified the victim as Larry Bermudo, 52, of Purok 4, Bgy. Lourdes, Tarlac City.
Witnesses told police that two men on a motorcycle shot the victim.
The suspects fled after the killing.
Responding barangay officials immediately brought Bermudo to the Ramos General Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.
Four fired cartridge cases for a cal. .45 gun were found at the crime scene.
Authorities activated “Oplan Kandado” for possible arrest of the gunmen.
