EFFECTIVE July 18, 2025, minimum wage earners in the National Capital Region (NCR) or Metro Manila will receive a P50 daily wage increase, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said.
The salary increase is based on Wage Order NCR-26—raising the minimum wage of Metro Manila workers to P695 for the non-agriculture sector and P658 for those in agriculture, retail/service, and small manufacturing establishments.
According to DOLE, around 1.2 million minimum wage earners in Metro Manila will be receiving a P50 pay increase.
The DOLE said the raise translates to a monthly increase of P1,100 per month for workers with a five-day workweek.
Those who work six days a week are expected to take home an additional P1,300 monthly.
The NCR wage board said this was the largest wage hike it has approved to date, aiming to help workers cope with living costs while maintaining employment and business stability.
