MEKENI Food Corporation warned the public, particularly their customers, against fraudulent individuals posing as official sales agents in various areas of Luzon.
According to the food company, the impostors have been approaching retailers and sari-sari store owners, deceiving them into purchasing unauthorized or counterfeit products.
“We take this matter seriously as it affects not only our business but also the trust of our loyal customers and partners. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and only transact with verified Mekeni representatives,” said Paulo Orfinada, head of Sales at Mekeni Food Corporation.

To ensure the safety of the consumers and the retailers, Mekeni advised the public to verify the authenticity of sales agents by contacting the company’s hotline at +639 45 458 0000 local 3707 or visiting Mekeni’s official website.
The company also clarified that their sales personnel will never ask for any payment in advance before the delivery of products.
Retailers and customers who encounter suspicious individuals claiming to be affiliated with Mekeni were strongly encouraged to report to them immediately.
Orfinada said reports should be directed to the respective local government units (LGUs) or other authorities to prevent further fraudulent transactions.
Mekeni reiterates its commitment to protecting consumers and ensuring the authenticity of its products.
The company urged everyone to stay alert and purchase only from legitimate and verified Mekeni representatives.
