THE Police Regional Office 9 on Sunday announced the arrest of two minors who went viral online for dancing naked while driving motorcycles in Zanboanga City.
According to PRO9 director Brig. Gen. Eleazar P. Matta, the minors are being investigated for reckless driving and inappropriate behavior while doing the dangerous stunt, as seen in the viral video, along Governor Camins Avenue .
Members of the Zamboanga City Police Station 11 managed to identify the two with the help of some concerned citizens.
The local police immediately coordinated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to ensure the proper and lawful handling of the juvenile delinquents who wore no helmets and were totally naked when they did the stunt.
Police also sought the help of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in identifying the registered owner of the involved motorcycles.
The parents of the two were also told to come to the police station and were encouraged to cooperate in disciplining the minors.
Authorities said the arrested minors will be facing charges of alarm and scandal and violation of existing traffic rules and regulations in the city.
