CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) arrested four most wanted men facing sexual offense charges in Bataan and Olongapo City.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PR03) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said that on Sept. 15, joint personnel of the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) and Bagac Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Ferdinand,” 68, the No. 2 most wanted person in Bagac, Bataan.
The suspect is facing six counts of acts of lasciviousness and nine counts of sexual assault under Republic Act 7610.
On the same day, Dinalupihan police nabbed alias “Ronie,” 48, the sixth most wanted at the municipal level, who is charged with sexual assault based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
During continuing crackdown, members of the OCPO, Pasig City Police, and the Olongapo Mobile Force arrested alias “Junior,” 27, on Sept. 19 in Olongapo City.
Alias “Junior” is facing multiple counts of rape, including non-bailable charges under the Revised Penal Code.
A fourth suspect, “Tatay Temio,” was also arrested in Olongapo following a complaint from a 12-year-old victim. He is facing five counts of statutory rape under RA 11648.
Peñones commended the operating units, saying that the arrests demonstrate the police’s resolve to pursue criminals without fear or favor.
“These successive arrests send a strong message — there is no refuge for those who prey on the innocent,” he said.
The arrested suspects are now in police custody and will be presented to the courts for appropriate legal action.
