A 15-YEAR-OLD boy listed as one of Central Luzon’s most wanted persons was arrested by the police in Tarlac City.
A report to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Field Unit 3 (RFU3) chief Col. Grant Gollod by Tarlac Provincial Field Unit head Maj. Arvin Hosmillo identified the arrested suspect as alias “Josh,” a resident of Bgy. Amucao, Tarlac City.
The CIDG RFU 3 said the young suspect was Top 4 in the list of most wanted felons in Region 3 and Top 4 in the provincial level of the Tarlac City police.
The suspect was arrested by joint elements of the CIDG Aurora Provincial Field Unit, CIDG Tarlac PFU, and Tarlac City police, in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) of Tarlac City.
The arrest was made based on an order to take custody issued by Family Court, Branch 11, Tarlac City for qualified rape of a minor and sexual assault.
Alias “Josh” was turned over to the CSWD Tarlac City. However, due to the unavailability of a local youth facility, the minor was brought to the CIDG Tarlac PFU for documentation and proper disposition.
The young suspect is temporarily under CIDG Tarlac’s custody pending the issuance of a Commitment Order for his transfer to the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth in Magalang, Pampanga.
