A HEATED argument over a P50 debt ended in the death of a 44-year-old man in Bgy. Camaya, Mariveles, Bataan.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. by the Bataan police identified the victim as Rodito Pido Ramirez, 44, a farmer and a resident of Zone 6, Bgy. Camaya.
Initial probe showed the victim went to the house of the suspect to demand payment of the P50 debt owed to him.
Suspect, alias “Warren,” 29, also a resident of Zone 6, engaged in a heated confrontation with the victim.
The suspect’s sister told police she heard the two men shouting before a single gunshot rang out.
The woman checked what was happening and saw her brother allegedly holding an improvised shotgun locally known as “boga” and fleeing on foot.
The victim was rushed to the Mariveles District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Police immediately launched a follow-up operation for possible arrest of the suspect.
