TWO men listed as most wanted persons in Bataan and Bulacan were arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 3.
CIDG RFU3 chief Col. Grant Gollod said personnel of the CIDG Bataan Provincial Field Unit (PFU)as the lead unit and in coordination with the Balanga City police conducted “Oplan Pagtugis” in Bgy. Central, Balanga City, Bataan, which resulted in the arrest of alias “Basuel,” 29, a construction worker residing in the same barangay.
The suspect, listed as no. 7 most wanted in Bataan, was arrested based on a warrant for acts of lasciviousness issued by the Family Court, Branch 5, Balanga City, Bataan.
The accused was brought to the CIDG Bataan PFU for standard booking procedures and temporary detention.
A separate “Oplan Pagtugis” operation was conducted by the CIDG Bulacan PFU, in coordination with the Malolos City police, Bulacan PPO, in Bgy. San Juan, Malolos City, Bulacan.
The operation led to the arrest of alias “Tito Amby,” 25, also a construction worker and a resident of the area.
“Tito Amby” is listed as no. 3 most wanted of the Bulacan PPO. He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for acts of lasciviousness issued by the Family Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 04, Malolos City, Bulacan.
The suspect was brought to the CIDG Bulacan PFU for standard booking procedures and temporary detention.
Gollod said the successful operations underscore the CIDG’s continued commitment to the relentless pursuit and arrest of wanted persons, particularly those involved in crimes against children, in support of the Philippine National Police’s intensified drive against criminality.
