FOUR people, including two women, on Friday were arrested by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a raid at a suspected drug den in Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Nabbed were alias “Kabog,” 56, a resident of the barangay and the target of the operation; alias “Omar,” 50; alias “Ela,” 31; and alias “Inah,” 32.
The operation, led by PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office in coordination with the PDEA-3 Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET), was conducted following a series of surveillance regarding the operation of the suspected drug den in the area.
Confiscated from the suspects were six plastic sachets containing around eight grams of shabu valued at P54,400, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.
The seized illegal drugs were subjected to forensic examination and confirmatory testing at the PDEA Regional Office III Laboratory in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
