CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Two senior officers in Central Luzon were promoted to full-fledged police colonel during a ceremony held on Tuesday at Camp Captain Julian Olivas, this city.
Promoted were Col. Dexter Camacho Versola, chief of the Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division and spokesperson of the PRO3, and Col. Jacquiline P. Puapo, acting chief of the Regional Education and Training Division.
Versola and Puapo formally donned their new ranks in a ceremony officiated by PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez at the Stakeholders’ Lounge of the Admin Building.
Versola, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class “Sambigkis” of 2003, continues to lead the region’s strategic planning efforts while serving as the primary voice of PRO3 in communicating timely and accurate information to the public.
Puapo, who belongs to PNPA Class “Kabalikat” of 1998, plays a key role in strengthening the capability of police personnel through responsive, standards-based training programs across Central Luzon.
Mendez lauded the newly-promoted officers, emphasizing that their elevation reflects both their dedication to service and their readiness to assume greater responsibilities.
“The rank comes with a higher level of accountability. As leaders, you are expected to set the standard—both in performance and in character—while ensuring that our people remain capable, disciplined, and mission-ready,” he said.
The promotion of Versola and Puapo highlights PRO3’s continued push to enhance leadership within its ranks, professionalize the organization, and deliver responsive, strategic, and people-centered police service throughout the Central Luzon region.
