PORAC, Pampanga – A contractor lost more than P450,000 cash, valuables, and a tricycle to thieves who broke into his house early Thursday morning in this town.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez by the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the victim as Ronnie Dimalanta Herrera, a 46-year-old contractor residing in Bgy. Babo Sacan, Porac.
An investigation showed that an unidentified suspect or group of suspects gained entry into the victim’s house and stole several items before fleeing.
Among the stolen items were a pouch containing P377,000 cash, a laptop worth P48,000, a G-Shock wristwatch valued at P6,000, a Techno Marine wristwatch worth P19,000, and tricycle.
The total estimated value of the stolen cash and properties was over P450,000.
Authorities have launched follow-up operations to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
Probers are gathering evidence and reviewing possible leads that could help solve the burglary.
