POLICE are conducting an in-depth investigation into the death of a 53-year-old woman in her home in Bgy. Luacan, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez identified the victim as Gina, a resident of Purok 4, Bgy. Luacan.
According to the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station, the incident was reported to the police by barangay captain Arnold Tajonera.
Lawmen immediately proceeded to the house of the victim.
Upon arrival, they found the victim lying lifeless on the floor of her bedroom beside her bed.
Initial investigation showed a blanket had been tied around her wrists.
Probers from the Bataan Police Provincial Office are gathering information from the neighborhood for possible witnesses and reviewing available closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage that may help determine the circumstances surrounding the death of the victim.
