JAIL officers arrested a 56-year-old female vendor for allegedly trying to sneak shabu for her live-in partner detained at the Nueva Ecija Provincial Jail (NEPJ) in Bgy. Caalibangbangan, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
The woman hid the shabu in her private part.
An investigation showed the woman was intercepted during a routine inspection of visitors at the NEPJ male custodial facility.
During inspection, the woman was found in possession of two plastic sachets containing shabu hidden inside her genitals.
The shabu was estimated to be around 0.9 grams and worth P6,120.
A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was filed against the woman.
