SAN RAFAEL, Bulacan — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has appealed to the public to exercise restraint and avoid spreading unverified information as authorities continue their investigation into the death of a mother and her two minor children whose bodies were discovered inside a vehicle in San Rafael, Bulacan.
According to PRO3, investigators are still awaiting the official results of forensic examinations, which are expected to help determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Authorities are examining all available evidence, leads and information gathered so far, while keeping all possible angles open.
Police stressed that no conclusion will be made until the findings are supported by verified evidence and official forensic results.
“We understand the public’s concern over this tragic incident,” PRO3 said, while urging the public to refrain from speculation, premature conclusions and the circulation of unverified claims, particularly on social media.
Authorities warned that unsupported assumptions could create confusion, potentially affect the ongoing investigation and cause additional distress to the victims’ grieving relatives.
Under the direction of PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, investigators are pursuing all possible leads to establish what happened and determine whether criminal involvement may have occurred.
Concerned police units have also been instructed to ensure that the investigation remains thorough, objective and evidence-based.
Public were asked to give investigators and forensic experts time to complete their work and emphasized the importance of compassion and sensitivity toward the bereaved family.
The regional police office likewise encouraged everyone to rely only on information released through official police channels.
It said further updates will be issued once findings have been verified and their disclosure will not compromise the investigation.
As the investigation continues, PRO3 appealed for the public’s patience, cooperation and responsible use of social media.
Police added that behind the investigation is a grieving family that deserves privacy, dignity and respect while authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the grim find.
