POLICE arrested a 71-year-old woman and four others in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Lamao, Limay, Bataan
Nabbed were alias “Neng,” 71, and her alleged cohorts identified in their aliases as “Onas,” 50; “Totoy,” 47; “Mhaysia,” 32; and “Em-em,” 21.
The sting was conducted by joint elements of the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office and the Bataan Police Provincial Office Drug Enforcement Unit.
Authorities recovered seven transparent sachets containing about 20 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P136,000, as well as assorted drug paraphernalia, three mobile phones, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects were brought to the PDEA Region 3 Detention Facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, pending the filing of charges.
Charges for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
