PETRON, Solane and Regasco have announced a price reduction for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) effective Thursday, May 1, 2025.
In separate advisories, Petron, Regasco, and Solane slashed LPG prices by P1 per kilogram.
The rollback took effect 12:01 a.m. of May 1.
The adjustment would bring down the cost of a regular 11-kg. household LPG cylinder by P11.
Petron said the price movement reflects the international contract price of LPG for May.
Based on a data from the Department of Energy, common prices of an 11-kg. LPG tank stood at 1,085.
It can be recalled that in March 2025, Petron and Solane announced that LPG prices will go down by P0.25 and P0.27 per kilo, respectively effective at 12:01 a.m. last April 1, 2025.
