THE LRT-2 and MRT-3 are offering free rides for passengers in celebration of the Independence Day on Thursday, June 12.
The LRT-2 is will give free rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 12.
Likewise, the MRT-3 said the free rides will be available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in all of the train stations on Independence Day.
“Ito ay alinsunod sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. na maghandog ng mga inisyatibong naglalayong mapagaan ang gastusin sa transportasyon at mapalaganap ang pagpapahalaga sa mahahalagang pambansang okasyon,,” the MRT management said.
