POLICE on Wednesday arrested three “high-value” targets and seized P2 million worth of marijuana, its derivatives and kush in a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Mabalacat City police chief Lt. Col. Efren David identified those arrested as alias “Jek-Jek,” 28, of Maluyus, Bgy. Bical, Mabalacat City; alias “Josh,” 24, of Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City; and alias “Ana,” 25, of Bgy. Balibago, Angeles City.
David said the Mabalacat City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the entrapment on the three suspects.
Seized were around two kilograms of cannabis worth P240,000; at least 520 grams of kush valued at P858,000; 218 pieces of marijuana flavored vape worth P872,000; and 19 pieces of marijuana oil worth P30,000, totalling P2 million; and the marked money.
The arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
