ANTI-ILLEGAL drugs operatives on Sunday arrested a female “high-value” target while over P3.4 million worth of shabu was seized in an entrapment operation in Malolos City, Bulacan.
Arrested was alias “Nikki,” 27, of Bgy. Tikay, Malolos City, according to a report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. by the Bulacan police.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by joint operatives of the Bulacan police, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit/Provincial Intelligence Unit (PDEU/PIU), together with personnel of the Malolos City police.
Confiscated from the suspect were one small plastic sachet and one large transparent vacuum-sealed plastic sachet both containing shabu weighing at least 500.42 grams worth P3,402,856, and the marked money.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspect.
Peñones lauded the operating units for their commitment to the campaign against illegal drugs.
“This string of successful operations is a clear message to those involved in the illegal drug trade – we will find you, and we will put an end to your operations. Our communities deserve to live in peace and without fear brought by these illegal activities,” the Central Luzon top cop warned.
