LAUR, Nueva Ecija – A parcel delivery warehouse on Saturday was attacked by robbers in Nueva Ecija.
Robbed was the J&T Express warehouse in Bgy. San Juan, Laur town.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., the Nueva Ecija police said J&T supervisor John Patrick Fragata, of Bgy. 1, Laur, reported the robbery to the Laur police.
Initial investigation showed that unidentified suspects forcibly entered the warehouse by destroying a window.
Once inside, the robbers dismantled the vault and damaged the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system.
The suspects carted away a scanner worth P50,000 and two CCTV hard drives and a DVD player valued at P20,000 before fleeing eastward.
Police noted that there was no cash inside the vault at the time of the incident.
The Laur police are conducting a follow-up investigation to identify and arrest the suspects.
