PAMPANGA 1st district Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon for the funding allocated for the construction of the Sto. Cristo Flyover in Angeles City.
Cristo flyover,” Lazatin said.
The lawmaker emphasized that the project will significantly help ease traffic congestion and improve daily travel for motorists, particularly employees commuting from various parts of Pampanga who regularly pass through the area.
Last Friday, Lazatin joined Dizon in a site inspection of the ongoing construction of the 1.1-kilometer flyover.
The project is expected to be completed within two years and is seen to improve traffic flow along MacArthur Highway.
Lazatin also thanked the President and the DPWH for approving the request of Mabalacat City Mayor Gerald Aquino for the construction of the Atlu-Bola Bypass Road, another major infrastructure project within Pampanga’s First District.
Meanwhile, Dizon underscored President Marcos’ directive to fast-track infrastructure projects nationwide.
