THE Department of Agriculture (DA) invited Metro Manila residents to grab the opportunity and avail of the products sold at the Kadiwa Ng Pangulo (KNP) as it will run from March 18 to 27 in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The DA said that the KNP is the government’s initiative to provide a “lifeline” by granting rent-free selling areas to farmers and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs), ensuring equitable access to fresh produce.
The KNP is organized by the DA, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The Presidential Management Service (PMS) and the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) serve as the guiding arm of the KNP, which is a project of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Metro Manila residents are encouraged to check on DA’s official Facebook page and other social media pages of other government agencies to check the full schedule and the venue of the KNP.
