THREE died while 17 others were injured in a multiple vehicle crash in Fairview, Quezon City on Monday night.
Killed were a motorcycle rider, and a mother and her child who were passengers of a UV Express.
An investigation showed 42-year-old driver Rolly Canapi Pascua lost control of the passenger bus as it reached the intersection of Fairlane Road and Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City at 9 p.m. on Monday.
The bus hit two motorcycles and a UV Express then continued to move forward, hitting four more motorcycles and a taxi.
One of the motorcycle riders fell under the bus and rescuers had difficulty pulling him out.
The rider and the two passengers of the UV Express were declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
Responding lawmen arrested the bus driver, who is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide, multiple physical injuries and damage to properties.
