A FEMALE village councilor was killed in front of her 11-year-old son in Quiapo, Manila.
Victim Stella Sky Lim was walking home with her son when shot from behind by riding-in-tandem assassins.
The gunmen fled after the killing.
One of the suspects was arrested by the police in a follow-up operation.
Lim’s family and the police are eyeing politives as possible motive for the killing.
