A SOUTH Korean national on Friday was found dead inside a car in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. identified the Korean as Kim Jae Youn, 56, of Sunset Valley Homes, Bgy. Cut-Cut, Angeles City.
Christine Cruz, the 36-year-old live-in partne of the victim told police that she saw Kim’s vehicle parked near their residence.
When she checked on the vehicle, she discovered the lifeless body of Kim on the driver’s seat. Beside the victim was a pot containing ashes of alleged poisonous charcoal.
Further investigation revealed that the Kim was a gambler and had attempted to commit suicide twice but was prevented by his live-in partner.
