MANILA Police District director PCol. Arnold Thomas Ibay ordered the relief of Raxabago police station commander PLt. Col. Roberto Mupas and his men after nine inmates of PS1 escaped from jail Wednesday morning.
In the MPD report, the inmates who escaped from the Male Custodial facility of Raxabago police station 1 by breaking the iron railings are facing charges of robbery, illegal drugs and illegal possession of firearms.
However, the Raxabago cops were able to recapture five of the escapees while the four others are still being pursued.
Ibay also ordered an indepth investigation into the incident.
