FOUR children, including a baby, on Thursday, November 23, were killed in a fire that razed their house in Cebu City.
Police identified the fatalities as Angelo Bayaton, 10; his siblings Crylle Bayaton, 6; Christina Bayaton, 1; and 11-month-old Amari Zane Cabornay.
The four were burnt beyond recognition, according to responding firefighters.
Two others suffered first-degree burns. They were identified as Gelo Cabornay, 31; and Pristine Cabornay, 30.
The fire broke out in the house of the victims at Sitio Upper Capaculan, Bgy. Tisa, Cebu City at 5:51 a.m. Thursday.
The blaze also destroyed at least seven houses.
An investigation is ongoing on what started the fire, which was declared fire out at 6:15 a.m. of the same day.
