ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Council cited Clark Development Corporation (CDC) president and CEO attorney Agnes VST Devanadera for her recent recognition as the “Woman of the Year” at the Asia Leaders Awards (ALA).
The City Council recently approved Resolutiion No. 11065, Series of 2023 highlighting Devanadera’s achievement and leadership, which earned her the prestigious title.
During the City Council’s session last Tuesday, Devanadera expressed gratitude for the honor bestowed upon her.
“I am truly humbled by this particular recognition, and I embrace the profound connection I feel in my heart, mind, and soul as a Kapampangan. This is why we work diligently as if Pampanga is my birthplace,” Devanadera said.
“I look forward to our continued collaboration, and I express my gratitude to the Angeles City Council for your support to Clark Development Corporation. I am honored to have received this recognition, and I sincerely thank you for it,” Devanadera said.
The recognition highlighted not only the CDC chief’s personal achievements but also emphasizes the growing influence and recognition of the Freeport on the regional stage.
During last Tuesday’s session, the resolution congratulating Devanadera was formally presented by the Council led by Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega Cabigting, alongside city councilors Jesus “Jay” Sangil, Arvin Suller, Joan Crystal Aguas, Danilo Lacson, Marino Bañola, Alexander Indiongco, Raco Paolo Del Rosario, Edgardo Pamintuan Jr., Joseph Alfie Bonifacio, and Crisanto Cortez.
Aside from being named “Woman of the Year” in 2023, Devanadera was also recognized as one of the Captains of Industries Awardees, Asia Influential Leaders Awardees, and a recipient of the University of the Philippines (UP) Gawad Oblation Award.
