A COUPLE reportedly involved in drug peddling and their alleged cohort on Monday were arrested by the police in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Abucay, Bataan.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 said arrested were alias “Joven,” 28; his wife alias “Jelli,” and alias “Kulot,” all of Abucay municipality.
The three yielded five plastic sachets containing around 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
Joint operatives of the PDEA Bataan, the Bataan Police Provincial Office-Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit and the Abucay Municipal Police Station launched the sting.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
