A FEMALE sexagenarian on Saturday died while at least 90 families were displaced following a fire that hit a residential area in Bgy. Niog 1, Bacoor City, Cavite.
The victim was identified only as Rosalinda. She was alone in the house when the fire struck.
An investigation showed the fire started around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday in Bgy. Niog 1.
The blaze destroyed at least 30 houses.
The affected families are temporarily housed at the multi-purpose hall and village chapels and were being provided food packs and clothes.
