TWO men were arrested by the police for gun possession and pointing their firearms at five persons during the serving of a demolition order in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Pampanga police identified the complainants as Gregorio Navarete, 47; Anna Marie Alper, 57; John Singian, 22; Alvin Nobocio, 32, all of Purok 2, Bgy. Anunas, Angeles City; and Melvin dela Cruz, 36, of Bgy.Margot, Angeles City.
The suspects were Halid Isdali alias “Ahmed,” 37, and Jomar Abdul Abdula, 30, both of 11 Ave., 4th St., Bgy. Amsic, Angeles City.
Confiscated from the suspects were one cal. .45 pistol with two magazines containing eight live bullets and a cal. .9mm with one magazine with two live bullets.
An investigation showed that officers were providing police assistance for the serving of a writ of demolition at Purok 1, Sitio Balubad, Bgy. Anunas, Angeles City when they saw the suspects armed with guns and pointing them towards the victims.
Lawmen immediately arrested Isdali and Abdula.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591 or illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
