A 5-YEAR-OLD boy on Monday drowned at a resort’s swimming pool in La Paz, Tarlac
The Tarlac police reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. that the victim was Jofer Lumibao, a resident of Bgy. Asturias, Tarlac City, Tarlac.
Initial probe showed that the victim’s family went to swim at Casa Carmelita Resort located in Purok 6, Bgy. Motrico, La Paz, Tarlac.
The child was last seen sitting on the stairs of a pool while his relatives were swimming.
After a few minutes, the victim went missing and later discovered unconscious under the water of the swimming pool.
The relatives tried to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) then rushed the victim to La Paz Medicare and Community Hospital, where the boy later died while being revived.
