CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police on Sunday arrested two drug suspects and seized at least P1.3 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police commander Col. Relly Arnedo identified the suspects as “Elmer” and “Lara.”
The duo were arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Guiguinto police in Bgy. Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
Arnedo said seized from the suspects were six medium-sized plastic sachets and one small plastic sachet containing shabu, with a total weight of 202.36 grams valued at P1,376,000, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Hidalgo said the PRO3 remains steadfast in its commitment to eradicating the spread of illegal drugs in the region.
