POLICE arrested a 29-year-old construction worker over the brutal murder of two women whose bodies were found buried in the suspect’s compound in Lucena City, Quezon.
One of the victims were found dismembered in a sack while the other was stuffed in a drum.
Arrested was Ryan Porga, a laborer and a resident of Bgy. 5, Lucena City.
According to Lucena City police chief Lt. Col. William Angway, the suspect told probers that he stabbed his live-in partner, Ronalyn Alvarez, 29, in the chest using an ice pick at the height of their quarrel over jealousy last June 30.
Porga then chopped the victim’s body into three parts using a bolo and put them into three sacks of cement and buried them in a shallow pit under the floor of their shanty.
Prior to the confession, Angway said Porga was arrested by the police for possession of a bladed weapon while creating trouble in the village last July 21.
While being asked by probers at the police station regarding his missing live-in partner, Porga suddenly went emotional and ended up admitting to have killed Alvarez.
Porga also confessed that sometime in March last year, he and Alvarez killed Analyn Orjejada.
He revealed that after hitting Orjejada with a hard object in the head, they placed her remains in a drum and buried her at the back of their house and had it cemented.

When asked by Angway why they killed Orjejada, Porga told him: “Siya po kasi ang nagdadala ng droga kay Ronalyn kaya siya nalulong sa shabu hanggang sa na tokhang pa siya ng mga pulis.”
After the confession, Porga led the police to the pit, where the two victims were buried.
The authorities then dug out the remains of the two women.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the City Lock- Up Jail and were charged before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
