THE bodies of an engineer and his survey aide who drowned in Angat River on Thursday were found in Bustos, Bulacan.
The victims were engineer Roxan Limus, 38, of San Miguel, Burgos, Pangasinan and his survey aide Dave Mangahas, 24 of Balolong Malaki, San Ildefonso, Bulacan, said a report to report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr..
The body of Mangahas was positively identified by his uncle , Angel Reyes, while the retrieved dead body of Limus was identified by his live-in partner Rosell Santos, 42, of Bgy. Lingunan, Valenzuela City.
The victims’ colleague, Dennis Manuel, 52, also an engineer and a resident of Bgy. Talacsan, San Rafael, Bulacan, told probers that they were a team from CM Pancho Construction Company supposedly conducting a river channel survey in Angat River in the part of Bgy. Makinabang.
Mangahas was crossing the river when he suddenly slipped and fell into the water.
Limus tried to rescue him but he too was drowned.
