A FEMALE teenager who was reported missing by her family was found dead near a creek in Ciudad De Hizon, Bgy. San Agustin, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that the victim, a 17-year-old girl, was positively identified by her parents and relatives.
The victim, a Grade 12 student at the Pampanga High School, was reported missing on January 13.
According to Dimaandal who assisted the victim’s relatives, an autopsy examination will be conducted to determine the cause of the teenager’s death.
Pampanga Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda said that based on the findings of the forensic unit of the PRO3 on the victim showed no signs of external injuries or rape.
Pineda expressed his condolences to the family of the teenager.
An investigation is ongoing on what caused the victim’s death.
