A 76-YEAR-OLD woman who was just enjoying the water on Wednesday drowned while swimming in a resort in Morong, Bataan.
The victim was a resident of Bgy. San Pedro, Guagua, Pampanga, based on a report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo by the Bataan police.
An investigation showed the victim went swimming but minutes later another woman aged 73 found her unconscious.
The elderly witness immediately sought help from other relatives, who performed the first aid.
The victim was then rushed to the Allied Care Experts (ACE) Medical Center-Baypointe Inc. in Olongapo City, where she was declared dead upon arrival.
