A MEMBER of the Angeles City police on Wednesday was arrested in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Pasay City,
Nabbed was alias“Totoy Male,” 37, according to a report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo by Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr..
Villarosa said the suspect is an a active member of the Philippine National Police (PNP) assigned at the Angeles City Police Station and a native of Pangasinan residing in Bgy. Anunas, Angeles City.
Joint operatives of the District Drug Enforcement Unit-Southern Police District, the District Intelligence Division–Southern Police District, the Pasay City Station Drug Enforcement Unit and the Pasay City police conducted the entrapment at a fastfood chain in Baywalk, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.
The operation was made following a series of surveillance after operatives received reports of the suspect’s alleged involvement in illicit drug activities.
Seized from the suspect were at least 35 grams of shabu valued at P238,000, the buy-bust money, a black sling bag containing two cellphones, a Glock 17 gun with PNP serial number loaded with 14 live bullets, a weighing scale, a pair of handcuffs, wallet with cash, a PNP and UMID IDs.
The cop-suspect will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
