CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) over the weekend confiscated at least P2,152,200 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Abucay and Balanga City in Bataan.
Bataan police acting director Col. Marites Salvadora reported to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that the first operation was conducted by operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Abucay police in Bgy. Capitangan.
Nabbed were alias “Alvin” and alias “Izon,” both “high-value targets” (HVI) and residents of Bgy. Young.
Confiscated from the two were an estimated 66.5 grams of shabu worth P452,200.
In the next operation, Balanga City police operatives caught a “high-value individual” (HVI) identified as “Aldrin,” 28, a resident of Bgy. New Born.
Eight large sachets of shabu weighing 250 grams with an estimated value of P1,700,000 were recovered from the suspect.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
