PRO3 DEPLOYS OVER 12K POLICEMEN IN CL TO SECURE  MAY 12 POLLS

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has deployed more than 12,000 police personnel to various polling precincts in Central Luzon as part of intensified security measures and preparedness ahead of the May 12 polls.

PRO3 director  Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo said the  deployment includes not only personnel from different police stations but also those from the regional and provincial headquarters to ensure the orderly, peaceful, and secure conduct of elections throughout the region.

“The large-scale deployment of our police personnel is part of our mandate to ensure safe, free, and accountable elections. Our focus is not only on precinct security but also on protecting the rights of every voter,” said Fajardo.

“The entire region is now on full alert status. PRO3 is in close coordination with the Comelec,  AFP, and other agencies to guarantee a swift and organized response to any incidents that may disrupt the electoral process,” she added.

Fajardo urged the public to cooperate with authorities and immediately report any suspicious activity to help maintain peace and order during the election period.
