POLICE on Thursday arrested two men for allegedly mauling a construction worker that led to his death in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. identified the victim as Ruben Suson Jr., 43, of Wakwak Riverside Bgy. Balibago, Angeles City.
Prior to the mauling, an altercation occured between the victim and a group of men at Sitio Pader in Bgy. Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
The two suspects, identified only as alias “Valle,” 29, and alias “Sello,” 23, both mechanics of Bgy. Pulung Maragul were among the group of men who attacked the victim, witnesses told police.
The victim sustained severe injuries that led to his death.
Authorities are conducting a follow-up investigation to identify and arrest the other suspects.
