A MOST wanted person in Angeles City, Pampanga was arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Region 3 (CIDG3).
CIDG3 chief Col. Richard Bad-Ang identified the suspect as alias “Mario,” 56, of Bgy. Piling Maragul, Angeles City.
The suspect was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest for frustrated murder issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 117 of Angeles City, Pampanga.
Court records showed that last year in Bgy. Marisol, Angeles City, the accused and the victim were co-workers and had an argument regarding a theft incident at their workplace.
Two weeks had passed and the victim continued to tease the accused on the theft issue. The suspect allegedly got furious and attacked the victim in the neck with an axe.
The suspect fled after the axe attack.
After receiving an information about the accused’s whereabouts, members of the CIDG Angeles City Field Unit, together with the City Intelligence Team, the Angeles Regional Intelligence Unit 3, CIDMB Angeles City Police Office, and the Police Station 5 of the Angeles City Police Office launched “Oplan Pagtugis” that led to the suspect’s arrest on Rizal St., Bgy.
