A MALE teenager on Monday drowned after he jumped into the river in Bgy. Dawe, Minalin, Pampanga.
Based on a report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. by Pampanga police director Col. Eugene M. Marcelo, the fatality was identified as Jercy, 18, a fishpond worker and a resident of Purok 6, Bgy. Dawe in Minalin.
Barangay Dawe chairman Richard Zurilla reported to the police the drowning incident.
The village chair said the victim was seen running under the rain then suddenly jumped into the river but did not resurface.
