CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A series of anti-drug operations by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) have sent to jail three drug suspects while more than P500,000 worth of shabu was seized.
Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Tarlac City Police Station arrested alias “Tot,” 45, in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. San Isidro, Ablang.
Seized from the suspect were one plastic sachet and one knot-tied ice bag containing shabu weighing 59.56 grams valued at P400,006, the marked and boodle money, a cellphone, P494 in cash, and a car.
In Olongapo City, local police chief Col. Ritchie Claravall said operatives from the Police Station 3 arrested two drug watchlist suspects in a sting in Bgy. Pag-Asa.
Confiscated from the duo were 26.521 grams of shabu worth P180,342.80.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr. commended the operating teams for their swift and effective actions.
“These accomplishments clearly show our strengthened fight against illegal drugs throughout Central Luzon. We are dedicated to dismantling drug networks, from the community level to the highest levels of leadership. We will continue to be relentless,” Penones said.
He urged the public to take an active role in the fight against illegal drugs.
“Our communities are our best partners. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. Together, we can build a drug-free and safer Central Luzon,” the Central Luzon top cop said.
