POLICE on Tuesday arrested a security guard while his cohort is being pursued for allegedly robbing a chicken restaurant in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
According to Bulacan police director Col. Angel Garcillano, robbed was the Mang Inasal branch in Bgy. Poblacion, Norzagaray town.
Garcillano said the restaurant’s branch manager, Arthur Baltazar, 40, of Balagtas, Bulacan informed the Norzagaray police of the robbery.
Police were told that the resto’s opening shift supervisor found the drive thru window destroyed and the P200,000 revolving cash fund missing.
A review of the CCTV footage in the establishment showed the security guard on duty, an alias “Mario,” served as lookout while another suspect is doing the crime, prompting cops to arrest him.
Police are now hunting down the security guard’s alleged accomplice.
