CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A series of manhunt operations in one-day by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Friday resulted in the arrest of four of the most wanted persons in Central Luzon.
The PRO3 under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. captured four most wanted persons in the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Zambales.
Among those arrested was alias “Tino,” 44, a construction worker from Malolos, Bulacan and wanted for murder.
Alias “Tino” was arrested by the joint tracker team of the 2nd Bulacan PMFC, PIT Bulacan West-RIU3, Paombong police and 24SAC, in Bgy. Sto. Rosario, Paombong, Bulacan.
Alias “Oca,” 28, who is wanted for two counts of rape, was arrested by members of the Hermosa police, PIU Bataan, and PIT Bataan-RIU3 in Bgy. Mambog, Hermosa, Bataan.
A third wanted felon, alias “Villa,” 23, of Castillejos, Zambales, was arrested in Bgy. Matangtubig, Baliuag, Bulacan by a composite team from the San Marcelino police, RID3-IOS, Castillejos police, PIU-ZPPO, PIT Zambales-RIU3, and 2nd PMFC ZPPO for two counts of rape.
A simultaneous operation by the Jaen police and 1st PMFC-NEPPO in Bgy. Sto. Tomas North, Jaen, Nueva Ecija, resulted in the arrest of alias “De Jesus,” 47, a farmer listed as no. 3 and no. 4 most wanted in the province.
Alias “De Jesus” is wanted for murder.
Peñones commended the operating teams for the successful operations.
“These arrests send a clear and powerful message to all criminals: PRO3 will hunt you down and bring you to justice. Our commitment to the chief PNP’s directives is evident in every successful operation that safeguards our communities,” the Central Luzon top cop said.
