CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Twenty-five suspects, including “high-value” targets, were arrested by operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. during a 24-hour operation in Central Luzon.
Confiscated were nearly P2.5 million worth of illegal drugs.
Police said that in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan, HVT “Eric” yielded at least 70 grams of suspected shabu valued at P476,000.
In Malolos City, Bulacan, two suspects were caught with 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000.
In Llanera, Nueva Ecija, a buy-bust led to the arrest of “Luz,” a 59-year-old HVT from Caloocan, who yielded 50 grams of shabu valued at P340,000.
In Subic, Zambales, police served a search warrant on the residence of a former crime group member identified as “Jonex.”
Seized were 33 grams of shabu worth P224,400 and drug paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, Mabalacat City operatives conducted an entrapment operation in Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City and arrested 21 suspects, including two HVIs.
Confiscated were 105 grams of shabu worth P714,000 and 40 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P4,800.
“This is a clear message to drug syndicates—Central Luzon will never be a safe haven for your operations. The scale and speed of these accomplishments demonstrate our dedication to the chief PNP’s call for swift, responsive, and aggressive law enforcement,” Peñones said.
The Central Luzon top cop underscored the importance of community cooperation for the success of their operations.
“We call on our communities to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity. A united front between the police and the public is our strongest weapon in the fight against illegal drugs,” he urged.
