CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The no. 4 most wanted person of Central Luzon on Friday was arrested with the help of cyber patrollers from the Regional Intelligence Division 3 (RID3) in Minalin, Pampanga.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. identified the arrested as alias “Daddy,” 56, a resident of Guagua, Pampanga.
Alias “Daddy” is facing charges for two counts of acts of lasciviousness and two counts of statutory rape.
Prior to the arrest, cyber patrollers conducted online validation to confirm the suspect’s location.
A joint team from the RID3 and the Olongapo City Police Station 2 served the warrant of arrest on the suspect.
Peñones commended the successful operation and underscored the importance of cyber capabilities in law enforcement.
“Our cyber patrollers are at the frontline of modern policing. Their ability to gather, validate, and act on online intelligence is crucial in locating fugitives who attempt to evade justice by hiding in both the physical and digital world,” Peñones said.
“This arrest sends a clear message — technology is our ally in protecting the public and bringing offenders to account. As long as they remain vigilant and skilled, no criminal will remain beyond our reach,” he added.
