CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Central Luzon recorded a 15.82% drop in focus crimes from June 20 to August 15, 2025, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) reported over the weekend
The PRO3 under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. has recorded a reduction by 46.3% on physical injuries cases; rape by 26.04%, murder by 31.91%, and carnapping by 50% .
Aurora, Zambales, and Tarlac posted the sharpest declines.
Swift action by PRO3 personnel also resulted in the arrest of 1,326 wanted persons (319 most wanted persons, 1,007 other wanted persons) and the confiscation of 260 loose firearms, boosting public safety.
“These numbers reflect the hard work and dedication of our men and women. Guided by PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III, we will continue working with communities to sustain this downtrend,” Peñones said.
