A LIFELESS baby on Wednesday was found floating on a creek in Malolos City, Bulacan.
Barangay tanod Irene Cabique Alejandre, 29, reported to the Malolos City police of the gruesome find.
The village official said the dead male infant was found on a creek in Bgy. Ligas in Malolos.
Members of the Malolos City police immediately went to the area and got the baby out of the water.
Police said the baby still had its placenta and umbilical cord attached to his body.
Authorities are coordinating with the local Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) office and the barangay for possible identification of the infant’s mother.
